Join us on the 28th October at the Alliance Francaise from 6-9pm as we join the fight against ruthless Cancer in our own small way.
Sharing the stage with us will be Cancer Survivor Michel Ongaro.
As we are all aware by now, October is Breast Cancer awareness month. Cancer is… CRUEL. We can’t think of a better word to describe it. It is simply cruel. We have all been affected in one way or another. Lost mothers, sisters, friends, lovers… to the disease. And sometimes we’re helpless. However, this year Ricky na Marafiki band would like to try a different approach.
We want to honour the departed, encourage and restore hope to the cancer survivors, all the affected and preach AWARENESS to everyone. Research has shown that music therapy is a very powerful tool. Music is not only food for the soul, it uplifts and brings back positive vibes which we can use to KICK CANCER”S BUM.
Know then, whatever cheerful and serene, supports the mind and body too. ~John Armstrong
